Anyways, I couldn’t decide until I actually saw what it would look like with the different colours.

Knuckles the Echidna vs Mario

Start Battle 10.

Knuckles uses his fists to scale the wall and upon reaching the roof, starts to smash the roof into large boulders that fall towards Mario. Mario manages to dodge all of them, but the boulders shatter into smaller rocks on impact, and Mario takes a beating. Knuckles, now having destroyed the roof, quickly scales down the wall before that too crumbles. Before Knuckles reaches the ground, Mario uses a Fire Flower on the rocks directly below Knuckles, and Knuckles lands painfully on the hot coals. Knuckles quickly reacts by throwing the hot rocks at Mario, but Mario uses his F.L.U.D.D. to cool the rocks and stop them hitting him. While throwing the rocks, Knuckles notices a strange gathering of shiny rocks which he notices to be super emeralds. Unleashing their mighty power, Knuckles turns into Hyper Knuckles which grants him the powers of flight and invincibility. Knuckles then proceeds to use this power very effectively on Mario, beating him almost to death. When the power wears off, Knuckles walks over to Mario to deliver the final punch. However, his punch shatters an invisible hovering [?] box, which releases a Starman, which lands directly on Mario, giving him the powers of invicibility and of a one-hit KO. Knuckles tries to run, but trips on one of the rocks formed from the roof, and with his last ounce of strength, Mario uses a spin-jump to finish Knuckles.
